Das <strong>dynamische Miteinander<\/strong> von F\u00e4chern und F\u00e4cherkulturen bietet den Forschenden wie den Studierenden gleicherma\u00dfen besondere Chancen zur interdisziplin\u00e4ren Zusammenarbeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Rahmen des von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft\ngef\u00f6rderten Graduiertenkollegs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Das Dokumentarische. Exzess und Entzug (GRK 2132)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ist an der Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Philologie der Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t Bochum zum <strong>01. Februar 2020<\/strong> folgende Stelle zu besetzen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Postdocstelle (TV-L\n13, 100%) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Postdocstelle ist projektbedingt zun\u00e4chst befristet bis zum <strong>31.03.2021<\/strong>. Vorbehaltlich der Bewilligung weiterer Projektmittel sowie einer positiven Zwischenevaluation wird die Stelle bis zum <strong>31.01.2023<\/strong> verl\u00e4ngert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Graduiertenkolleg erforscht die medialen, insbesondere\ndie textuellen, die audiovisuellen und digitalen Formen des Dokumentarischen\nsowie die kulturellen Bedingungen, unter denen es bestimmten Medien gelingt, zu\ndokumentarischen Leitmedien zu avancieren. Ein besonderes Augenmerk gilt dem\nSpannungsverh\u00e4ltnis zwischen einer exzessiven Pr\u00e4senz des Dokumentarischen in\nden digitalen Kulturen der Gegenwart und der unvermeidlichen Selektivit\u00e4t, die\nsich an den blinden Flecken dokumentarischer Praktiken ebenso wie an ihren\nexperimentellen Formen und \u00e4sthetischen Verfremdungen untersuchen l\u00e4sst. Dies\ngeschieht in den vier Arbeitsbereichen \u201eFormengeschichte und Theoriebildung des\nDokumentarischen\u201c, \u201eMedien-Poetiken des Dokumentarischen\u201c, \u201eSelbstdokumentation\nund Affektkulturen\u201c sowie \u201eTechno-Politiken des Dokumentarischen\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Kolleg ist als strukturierte Graduiertenausbildung f\u00fcr\ndeutsche wie internationale Graduierte konzipiert, die sich in einem\nAuswahlverfahren durch ihr fachliches Profil und ein herausragendes,\ninterdisziplin\u00e4r anschlussf\u00e4higes und im zeitlichen Rahmen der F\u00f6rderung\nrealisierbares Promotionsvorhaben auszeichnen. Subject to the approval of further project funding and a positive interim appraisal, the post will be extended until <strong>31 January 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The research training group investigates the different media\nforms of documentary practice \u2013 in particular, audio-visual, textual and\ndigital forms \u2013 and the cultural conditions under which particular types of\nmedia come to dominate this practice. One particular area of focus concerns the\ntension between the ubiquity of documentary forms in today\u2019s digital cultures\nand the unavoidable need for selectivity \u2013a phenomenon that can be investigated\nby attending to the blind spots of documentary practices and their experimental\nforms and aesthetic dissociations. This investigation is subdivided into four\nareas: \u2018Formal History and Theorisation of Documentary Practice\u2019,\n\u2018Media-Poetics of Documentary Practice\u2019, \u2018Self-Documentation and Cultures of\nAffect\u2019 and \u2018(Techno-)Politics of Documentary Practice\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group is intended to provide structured training for\nGerman and international postgraduate researchers, who are selected according\nto the criteria of an outstanding academic profile and an exceptional proposal\nfor an interdisciplinary PhD project that can be completed within the funding\nperiod. The postdoc project should be based in the area of \u2018Formal History and\nTheorisation of Documentary Practice\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to working on their own research project, the\npostdoctoral researcher will be required to actively participate in planning,\ncreating content for and implementing the research training group\u2019s research\nand study programme and academic conferences.
